Project Description FSI analysis to estimate the wind loads for up and downstream wind directions on 9 feet high pole-mount 3x3 array of solar panels. The objective of the simulation was to determine the drag and lift forces and moment coefficients. Deformation due to wind velocity of 45 m/son the structure was analyzed.
Design of Crossflow Turbine for 2 kW Pico Hydro Plant
Project Description Design, analysis and optimization of crossflow pico hydro turbine and its electrical systems. The efficiency of the turbine was increased from 10% to 70% and multiple options were presented to the client regarding the electrical system.
